    On 03/19/2018, at 9:27 pm, 76-year-old Candido Baros of San Bernardino, was struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway near the intersection of N. Waterman Ave. and E. Temple St., in San Bernardino. Baros was transported to St. Bernardine Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:00 pm. The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the collision.     At 4:48 AM on 03/19/2018, a wireless 911 call was received reporting a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 127 near mile marker 38 west of Baker. Edmond Goubran, a 45-year-old resident of Pahrump Nevada was found deceased inside his overturned 2004 BMW 745. The Barstow office of the California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.     On Friday, 03/16/2018, at 11:19 PM, Barstow Police Department personnel responded to the 300 block of East Main Street in Barstow, for a single vehicle traffic Collison. The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Jorge Alberto Daniel Santander III of Barstow, was transported to Barstow Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday, 03/17/2018 at 12:06 AM.     On Monday, 03/12/2018, at 8:30 AM, XiangFeng Ma, a 41-year-old, resident of Anaheim, who was reported missing in the Mount Baldy area on Saturday, 03/10/2018, was located by San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department personnel. XiangFeng Ma was declared dead on scene at 9:23 AM. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Coroner Division will be conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.     On Wednesday, 03/14/2018, at 8:46 PM, 24-year-old Jose Manuel Rosas of Colton, was struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway near the intersection of Rancho Avenue and Edgehill Drive in Colton. Rosas was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 11:49 PM. The Colton Police Department is investigating the incident.[03162018 0305 JL]

    On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 11:30 pm, officers with the San Bernardino Police Department and paramedics responded to a single vehicle collision near the intersection of West 4th Street and Cabrera Avenue in San Bernardino. Paramedics located the driver, 34-year-old Edwin David Mendez of San Bernardino, with traumatic injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the collision. [03142018 0550 SC]

    On Sunday, 03/11/2018, at 8:43 pm, a male was driving a blue Jeep north on Rabbit Springs Road, east of State Route 18, in Lucerne Valley. The Jeep drove off the road, into the open desert, and rolled over. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:57 pm. The name will be released after the next-of-kin is notified. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. [03122018 0625 SC]

    On 02/16/2018, at 12:52 PM, The California Highway Patrol was called to eastbound Interstate 10 near the Riverside Ave overpass in Rialto, for a collision involving multiple vehicles.  Five individuals died in the collision.  The circumstances of the collision presented specific challenges to establish scientific identification of the persons involved.  All have been identified and their families have been notified. They are: Jerry Thomsen, a 59-year-old resident of Menifee, and his wife, Linda Crowell-Thomsen, a 55-year-old resident of Menifee; Miguel Martinez-Medina, a 63-year-old resident of Los Angeles; Edgar Kunkler, a 63-year-old resident of West Covina; and, Dudley White, a 73-year-old resident of Twenty-Nine Palms.  The California Highway Patrol is also investigating the collision.
