On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, Yucaipa Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault against a 16-year-old victim. The victim reported that Tyler Eagle was at her residence and sexually assaulted and raped her. Detectives began looking for Eagle, but were unable to locate him.
On March 7, 2017, an unrelated victim contacted Yucaipa Police to report that Eagle had burglarized their residence in the 34400 Block of County Line Road. It was reported that several items were taken from the residence.
On March 17, 2017, Yucaipa Police Deputies located Eagle in the City of Yucaipa and brought him back to the station for further investigation. Detectives conducted an interview with Eagle. At the conclusion of the interview, Eagle was arrested for all of the above charges. Detectives were also able to recover some of the stolen property at another residence in the City of Yucaipa.
Eagle was booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Eagle is being held on all of the above charges, in lieu $ 325,000 Bail.
Eagle’s booking photo is being released, as detectives have information that Eagle may be responsible for other thefts in the city.
