INCIDENT: PC 496D(A), POSSESS STOLEN VEHICLE; WARRANT

 

LOCATION: DE BERRY ST / MT. VERNON AVE., GRAND TERRACE 

 

SUSPECT(S): NOE CARRILLO

                        VALERIE VASQUEZ

 



Summary

On Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 4:19 a.m. Deputy N. Newsom was in the area of Mt. Vernon Ave and De Berry St. in the City of Grand Terrace when he spotted two vehicles following closely.   After conducting a records check on one of the vehicles, it returned as a stolen vehicle from Riverside. Both occupants of the vehicles were removed and detained for further investigation.  Carrillo was the driver and soul occupant of the stolen vehicle and Vasquez was the driver of the vehicle following. Vasquez and Carrillo are transients from the Rubidoux area.

                                                           

The victim was contacted and stated she did not know Carrillo or Vasquez, nor did they have permission to be in possession of her vehicle.  Vasquez was arrested for an outstanding warrant and Carrillo for being in possession of a stolen vehicle. Both were transported to the Central Detention Center for booking.
