INCIDENT: PC484G(F), Theft by use of Access Card; PC484E(D), Theft of Access Cards or Account Information; PC484F(A), Counterfeit Credit Cards; PC484E(B), Possess Four or More Credit Cards; PC484I(B), Alter Credit Cards; PC475(A), Pass Altered Item; PC530.5, Identity Theft and HS11377(A), Possession of Methamphetamine.


LOCATION: San Manuel Casino


SUSPECT: Tigran Bertlizyan, 38, Reseda


VICTIM: San Manuel Casino


On May 13, 2014, Bertlizyan entered the San Manuel Casino and used two fraudulent credit cards to obtain cash redemption vouchers totalling $700 from an ATM. When Bertlizyan attempted to redeem the vouchers, casino staff became suspicious of the credit cards and notified the Sheriff's Department. Deputies from the Central Patrol Station responded to the casino and noticed the credit cards were obviously altered.


Bertlizyan consented to a search of his vehicle in the casino parking lot. Upon searching the vehicle, deputies recovered numerous altered credit cards, methamphetamine and drug paraphrenalia. Deputies believe Bertlizyan used bank information from victims he obtained on the internet to produce the fradulent credit cards. Bertlizyan was arrested and booked into custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.


A search warrant obtained and conducted at Bertlizyan's residence in Reseda, California. Upon searching Bertlizyan's residence, an embossing machine, computer, reader/writer and several more altered credit cards were recovered.
