Incident: PC 459 Burglary Suspect

 

Location: 18000 block of Hwy 18, Apple Valley

 

Suspect(s): Unknown black male adult / 50-60 years old, 5’6”-5’9” / Medium Build, Balding

 

Victim(s): Local Gun Shop



Summary

On Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at approximately 1622 hours, the unidentified suspect burglarized a gun shop in the 18000 block of Hwy 18 in Apple Valley.  The suspect entered the gun shop, walked into the back room, took the gun from the unlocked safe and concealed it in his pants.  The suspect left the location without any contact with store personnel. The item that was stolen was a Helwan M1951 9mm handgun with Arabic writing on it, valued at approximately $400. One of images attached to this release is an example of the stolen gun.
