INCIDENT:   ATTEMPT MURDER

 

LOCATION:  18300 BLOCK OF TALOGA RD, APPLE VALLEY

 

VICTIM(S):     34 YEAR-OLD MALE OF APPLE VALLEY                    

 

SUSPECT(S): UNKNOWN



Summary

On Monday, May 26, 2014 at 12:43 p.m., deputies responded to the 18300 block of Taloga Rd in Apple Valley for several witnesses reporting the sound of gunshots nearby.  Deputies arrived and located multiple crime scenes, both in the roadways and in an apartment complex on Taloga Rd.  At about the same time, an injured victim was reported to have been brought into St Mary’s Regional Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.

 

Deputies collected witness and victim statements and are working to identity the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time. A CHP helicopter assisted with the incident.
