INCIDENT:     ARMED ROBBERY

 

LOCATION:    18000 BLOCK OF STATE HWY 18, APPLE VALLEY

 

VICTIM:          CIRCLE K CONVENIENCE STORE                       

 

SUSPECT(S): 2 UNKNOWN BLACK MALE ADULTS, BOTH WEARING HOODED SWEATSHIRTS,                           POSSIBLY GREY IN COLOR.



Summary

SUMMARY:

On Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at approximately 1:02 a.m., Deputies of the Apple Valley Police Station were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at Circle K in the 18000 block of State Hwy 18, in the Town of Apple Valley. Suspects fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival. A search of the area was conducted, but the suspects were not located.

 

Two suspects reportedly entered the convenience store wearing hooded sweatshirts.  One suspect, who also wore a ski mask and gloves, produced a handgun and demanded cigarettes and cash from the store clerk. The second suspect worked as a lookout during the robbery.  The suspects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and several cartons of cigarettes.  The suspects ran behind the store and are believed to have fled the area in a vehicle, make and model not known at this time. No one was harmed during the robbery.
