On March 9, 2014, at
approximately 7:39 a.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call from a
residence on Lawton Avenue in Loma Linda. The reporting party told the sheriff's
dispatcher there was a male at the location trying to break the door down to
get to the victim. The victim told the dispatcher the male was trying to kidnap
her from the residence. Deputies arrived and discovered the victim was taken
from the residence by force by the male suspect. Deputies gathered critical
information from witnesses including the description of the suspect and the
suspect's vehicle and broadcasted the information to other patrol cars.
Deputies in the area
located the suspect's vehicle on Lawton Avenue near Loma Linda Drive. They
stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Anthony Silverwings. He was
detained and arrested without incident. The victim was upset but unharmed.
investigation deputies learned the victim and Silverwings are involved in a
dating relationship. Silverwings became upset at the victim while at the
residence on Lawton Avenue. The victim tried to get away and hide from
Silverwings but he forced open a door to the residence and forced the victim
into the vehicle. Silverwings threatened to harm the victim and the victim's
family members if the victim did not comply with him.
Silverwings claims to
be a member of a criminal street gang in Redlands. He is on felony probation in
San Bernardino County for Assault with a Deadly Weapon (firearm).
was booked at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino for Kidnapping,
Felony-Criminal Threats and Probation Violation. His bail is set at $250,000
but a violation of probabtion hold has been placed against him with no bail. Anyone with additional information about this
