On Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 7:30 a.m., Highland Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 29000 Block of Marcus Lane regarding subjects trying to break into a home. The victim called 911 and reported that two male subjects were attempting to break into their home. Deputies arrived within minutes and contacted the two suspects who were attempting to flee back to their vehicle parked nearby. Investigators determined the two suspects had targeted the residence, believing no one was home. They then entered the backyard of the residence and attempted to enter the home.
A search warrant was later served at each of the suspect’s homes.
Olmos is currently on Formal Felony Probation for residential burglary.
Detectives are continuing with their investigation to see if the suspects may be responsible for additional burglaries in the area.
