Incident:       Identity Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, Conspiracy and Vandalism

Suspect (s):  Salvador Montesdeoca, 26 years old and Joseph Sirimaro, 44 years old, both of Riverside


On Monday, March 3, 2014 at approximately 4:31 a.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Police Station observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of Soquel Canyon near Pomona Rincon in the city of Chino Hills.  Deputies conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and contacted Salvador Montesdeoca and Joseph Sirimaro. During their investigation, deputies located burglary tools, stolen property and stolen mail. It was determined the two suspects had recently stolen several persons’ mail from the Los Serranos Ranch Community. The suspects were also linked to vehicle burglaries, theft of mail and identity theft in Corona and Riverside. Both suspects were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Their bail is set at $25,000.


The investigation is ongoing and citizens with information regarding these persons or crimes, or believe they may be a victim, are urged to contact the Chino Hills Police Station.
