INCIDENT: Yucaipa Police Department Volunteers begin park patrol

LOCATION: Eldorado Ranch Park, City of Yucaipa

Summary

The Yucaipa Police Department’s summertime park patrol is anchored by our city’s outstanding volunteers.  Volunteers from the posse and reserve units annually donate over 9,000 hours of service to our citizens.  These volunteers patrol our parks on foot, horseback and in marked patrol units.  They will be enforcing the city ordinance which prohibits the operation of all motorcycles in city parks.

During the months of June and July they will be concentrating their patrol efforts during the early evening hours at the Eldorado Ranch Park located on Oak Glen Road northeast of Bryant St. & Jefferson St. in the City of Yucaipa.
