Incident:                    Possession of Child Pornography

Location:                   17900 block of Bangor Avenue, Hesperia

Suspect(s):                Patrick Michael Walker, age 49 of Hesperia


On Tuesday, June 3, 2014 Detective Frey of the Crimes Against Children Detail received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Patrick Walker was uploading child pornography from the internet.  Detective Frey learned Patrick Walker was a registered sex offender currently on parole for possession of child pornography.  Detective Frey coordinated with the California Department of Corrections Parole Officers and learned Walker had moved from Victorville to Hesperia. 


On Friday, June 6, 2014 deputies from the Sheriff’s department and parole officers from CDC conducted a PC 290 Compliance Check and Parole search at Walker’s new residence.  Walker was found to be in possession of cellular phones and removable flash drives with stored images of child pornography. 


On Friday, June 6, 2014, Walker was arrested for PC 311.11(b) – Possession of Child Pornography with prior conviction and PC 3056 – Parole Violation.  Walker was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is being held without bail.
