Crime or Incident: PC 212.5, Residential Robbery  

Location:  15000 Block of Carmelita Ave, Chino Hills, CA.

Suspect(s):  Hernandez, Manuel, HMA, age 18 of Chino Hills 


On Saturday, June 14th 2014, at approximately 3:30 P.M., deputies from the Chino Hills Police Department observed a suspicious male, later identified as Manuel Hernandez,  walking near the area of Carmelita Ave and Fairway Blvd.  The subject immediately fled from deputies running through several yards and forcing his way into a residence.


While inside the residence he assaulted the homeowner and demanded the homeowner hide him from police.  After the homeowner struggled with Hernandez he left the residence and was later found hiding in a nearby property.


Hernandez was arrested for three active arrest warrants and Residential Robbery including a $150,000 San Bernardino County warrant for displaying a dangerous weapon. 


Hernandez was transported to West Valley Detention Center and booked into custody.
