INCIDENT:    Attempt Murder/Residential Burglary


LOCATION:  2800 block of Brookside Drive, Chino Hills


VICTIM:        Adult Male of Chino Hills – confidential


SUSPECT:    Raiveon Wooden, age 18 of Chino



On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at approximately 2:24am, deputies from the Chino Hills Station responded to the report of a possible stabbing and shooting that had occurred at a residence in the 2800 block of Brookside Drive in Chino Hills.  Upon arrival, deputies were informed that the suspect, identified as Raiveon Wooden, had forced entry into the victim’s home and was hiding in their garage.  The homeowner/victim, became aware that someone was in his garage.  As he was approaching the garage, he was attacked by the suspect and stabbed multiple times.  The victim was armed with a handgun and in efforts to protect himself and his family, fired at the suspect striking him twice.  Deputies were advised that the suspect was the ex-boyfriend of the victim’s daughter.



The suspect and victim were transported to local area hospitals for treatment of their injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.   Upon the suspects release from the hospital, he will be transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC664/187 Attempt Murder and PC459 Residential Burglary.
