On Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 12:55 a.m. Deputies responded to an alarm call at the Copper Mountain College campus. While the responding Deputy was checking the campus, an unknown male ran from the campus into the open desert. Deputies were able to track the suspect for several miles through the desert recoving items of stolen property the suspect dropped along the way.
