INCIDENT: Penal Code 206, Torture

 

LOCATION: 2100 block of Bullion Drive, Twentynine Palms

 

SUSPECT: Clay Henderson, 18 years old, Twentynine Palms

 

VICTIM: 17 year old juvenile

 



Summary

On Monday, February 24, 2014, the 29 Palms Juvenile Officer, Deputy Ericson Dominick, received a report at the 29 Palms High School in reference to a 17 year old juvenile with burns on his face and neck. During the investigation, deputies learned that a week prior, the 17 year old juvenile went to visit his girlfriend at her house. While waiting outside, Clay Henderson, an 18 year old brother to the victim's girlfriend, came outside and threw a cup of hot liquid on the victim's face. Henderson additionally pulled out a weapon and threatened the victim. The victim sustained severe burn marks to their face and neck.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2014, deputies served a search warrant at the 2100 block of Bullion Drive in the city of Twentynine Palms and recovered a coffeee cup and the weapon used by Henderson. Henderson was arrested and booked into the Morongo Jail. Henderson's bail is set at $500,000.00.
