On Monday, February 24, 2014, deputies assigned to the Chino Hills Police / Sheriff’s station conducted an investigation regarding an anonymous WeTip and discovered a marijuana grow house. Deputies discovered the location contained approximately 100 marijuana plants. Investigators confiscated a large amount of cash and determined the suspects had also been stealing electricity. The West Valley Street Enforcement Team assumed the investigation.

The odor and foot traffic coming from the residence was called into the WeTip hotline which led the deputies to investigate the information. This is a great example of the community using the anonymous WeTip hotline which led to the discovery of the illicit activity.
