DATE/TIME:  04-18-14  / 1635 Hours

 

INCIDENT:    PC 220 – Assault with the intent to commit rape

                      PC 273.5 – Domestic Violence

                      PC 32 – Accessory to a crime

 

LOCATION:  27400 Block of Villa Ave; City of Highland

 

SUSPECT:    RODRIGUEZ, Austin                      AGE: 25                     Highland, CA

                      RODRIGUEZ, Agustin                    AGE: 60                     Highland, CA



Summary

On the above date and time, Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 27400 Block of Villa Lane reference a domestic disturbance. Investigation revealed that AUSTIN had assaulted the victim, and attempted to force her to perform sexual acts on him. Austin fled the scene as Deputies arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for her injuries.

 

Further investigation revealed that his father AGUSTIN RODRIGUEZ drove to the area and picked up his son, and attempted to help him flee the area.

 

Both suspects were later located and arrested in the City of Long Beach a few hours later. Both suspects were arrested and booked into Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.

 

AUSTIN is on active CDC Parole, and is being held without bail.

 

Agustin is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
