INCIDENT:    Possession of Stolen Property; Violation of Probation


LOCATION:   De Berry St. / Mt. Vernon Ave., Grand Terrace


SUSPECT:    Erin Boyd, 28 years of age a resident of Grand Terrace


VICTIM(s):     Erika Braham, White female 56 years of age


On Sunday April 20, 2014, at approximately 1:37 p.m., Deputy Garcia who is assigned to the Grand Terrace Police Department contacted Erin Boyd near the intersection of De Berry St. and Mt. Vernon Ave. in Grand Terrace.  Deputies Delo and Cabrera from Sheriff’s Central Station responded to assist with the investigation.  


During the investigation, Boyd was found to be in possession of a United States Treasury tax return and two MasterCard credit cards not issued to her.  She is currently on felony probation for a previous criminal case. 


The property belonged to individuals who were identified as mail theft victims who had their mail stolen within the last two weeks from their mail boxes in Grand Terrace. The property was recovered and returned to its rightful owners. 


Boyd was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
