John Aaron Hannibal,   49 years of age, a resident of Colton

On April 23, 2014, deputies from the Sheriff's Central Station attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle.  The driver failed to stop for deputies and a vehicle pursuit ensued.  The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran through several red signal lights, without regard for public safety.

At the termination point of the pursuit, the suspects intentionally rammed their vehicle into a marked Sheriff's unit, disabling their vehicle.  Deputies apprehended both occupants of the vehicle at that location.

Deputies conducted a search of the suspect's residence and located property that was previously stolen during a residential burglary in the City of Loma Linda.  Deputies also located chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, in the suspect's garage.   Both suspects were booked into Central Detention Center on several felony charges and outstanding felony warrants.
