Rancho Cucamonga - Death Investigation

DATE/TIME:            October 20, 2013/8:05 a.m.

LOCATION:             8200 block of Vineyard Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga 

VICTIM:                    2 month old male 


On Sunday, October 20, 2013, at approximately 8:05 a.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Rancho Cucamonga Station, responded to a 911 call at an apartment complex in the 8200 block of Vineyard Avenue.


Upon arriving at the location, deputies discovered a deceased two month-old (male) infant. Peramedics responded to the scene and the victim was pronounced deceased.


Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Homicide Detail were notified and are conducting an investigation. The cause and manner of the victim's death are pending the results of an autopsy, to be performed by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Coroner Division.
