Incident:            Victor Valley - Shooting at an Inhabited Dwelling/Felon in Possession of a Firearm
                           Criminal Threats/Cruelty to Animals/Vandalism

Location:           9300 block of Bellview Road, Apple Valley

Suspect(s):        Francis Pusok, age 29 a resident of Apple Valley


On November 25, 2013 at approximately 12:19 p.m, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of shots fired and screaming in the 9300 block of Bellview Rd in the county area of Apple Valley.    


Deputies from Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station and Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area to investigate.  When Sergeant Kim Watkins, Deputy Jeff Farrar, Deputy Sarah Ferguson and Deputy Joshua Moore arrived on scene they found a male subject in the backyard of a residence.  The deputies made contact with the subject, later identified as Francis Pusok, and detained him.  Deputy Chase Ash and Corporal Scott Chapdelaine arrived on scene and deputies began their investigation. 


Deputies learned that Pusok had threatened his girlfriend and had shot a dog.  During the course of the investigation it was learned that Pusok is a convicted felon and therefore prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.  Pusok, while detained in the back seat of a patrol car, kicked out the window of a vehicle.


Pusok was arrested on the above charges and booked at the Victor Valley Jail.  Pusok is currently being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
