LOCATION:   22700 block of Robin Way, Grand Terrace


VICTIM:           Confidential male, 28 year old resident of Fontana    


SUSPECT:    Jorge Castro, 29 year old resident of Fontana




The victim was visiting his girlfriend who is a resident of Grand Terrace.  The victim and his girlfriend were sitting in his vehicle which was parked in front of his girlfriend’s residence on Robin Way.    The girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, identified as Jorge Castro, walked from behind the vehicle, opened the car door and attacked the victim with a knife.  The victim was stabbed numerous times in the upper body.   Castro fled to his residence in Fontana where he was later detained by sheriff’s deputies and Fontana police officers.  The victim was transported to the Loma Linda University Medical Center and is expected to survive.   Castro was booked at West Valley Detention Center for attempt murder.
