Boating

Lake Gregory is free of the quagga mussel .  To maintain the pristine condition of the lake, each boat or vessel is checked prior to entering the lake.
Boat rental season is from April-October

Seasonal Kayak/canoe launch pass- $100 (March-November)
Seasonal Float tube launch pass - $100 (must launch from Boat House March-November)
Daily Rental Rates:
Paddle board - $3.00/30-minutes
Aqua cycle - $6.00/30-minutes
Rowboat rental - $30.00/half-day   $50.00/all day
Electric Motor- $15.00/day

Dragon Boat Racing on Lake Gregory

Dragon Boat Racing is a Chinese tradition that is over 2,500 years old. The sport came to Crestline in 2007.

A dragon boat is an elongated canoe seating between 12 and 20 persons.  A drummer beats the cadence indicating the timing and frequency of the paddling strokes and a steersman sits at the stern and controls the steering with an oar similar to a gondolier. 

This year's Dragon Boat Races will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 for novice racers.  Up to 32 teams of 12 persons per team will race 250 meters.  Form a team and join in the fun!  Registration is $10/person (includes park entry).  Must be at least 8 years old to participate.
