Active Outdoors encourages people to enjoy outdoor recreation in open space areas.  In an effort to encourage healthy physical activity it holds an annual themed double-elimination kickball tournament titled Kickin' It Oldschool. 

In addition to the sports competition, for which a trophy is awarded to the winning team, there is also a fashion and dance competition held during the day.

Teams range from 9 to 12 members.  Registration is $75 per team.
