Fishing Workshops

Want to fish, but don’t  know how? Know the sport, but want to know more?

Regional Parks invites you to participate in their award winning and nationally recognized Fishing Workshops. Whether you are a first time fisherman or already know the sport but would like a few extra tips, this program is for YOU!

Participants begin the morning by traveling through stations lead by volunteer fishing specialists to learn the basic fundamentals of lake shore fishing. These stations include knot tying, casting, cleaning, cooking and more. Immediately following the educational stations participants can choose to partake in a two hour open fishing session where all tackle and equipment is provided.

Regional Parks offers two programs, our Junior Fishing Workshop for children ages 7 to 15 years old and our Adult Fishing Workshop for those participants 16 years of age or older.

$10.00 per child paid in advance of the class

$10.00 per vehicle paid at park gate upon arrival (if applicable)
