Tuition Loan Repayment Program

The Tuition Loan Repayment Program provides eligible employees assistance in the repayment of their student loan obligations.  Eligibility for the Tuition Loan Repayment Program is governed by your Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Detailed information can be found in the applicable MOU, to view click here.

Effective July 1, 2019, employees in the Nurse's and Attorney's Units who meet eligibility criteria may apply for the tuition loan repayment program.  See below for more information.

Eligibility

Employees with two or more years of continuous service with the County as of July 1, 2019 will be eligible to apply for the tuition loan repayment program.  Continuous service is defined as the total length of service from an employee's hire date in a regular position with no separation from County employment.  

How to Apply 

Employees who meet eligibility criteria for the Tuition Loan Repayment Program may submit an application and supporting documentation to their Appointing Authority.   Please refer to the application, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for more information on supporting documentation and payment amounts.
