Boards, Commissions & Committees

The County of San Bernardino has more than 150 boards, commissions and committees providing advice and feedback to the County Board of Supervisors on diverse topics. Information and application materials are available here.

In addition, members of the County Board of Supervisors are appointed by the Board Chairman to represent the County on a variety of local, regional, statewide and national committees. Follow the link below to see the current appointment roster for these “multi-jurisdictional” committees.


BCC Application  Apply to become a member of a County Board, Commission or Committee (BCC).  Applications are accepted continuously. 
BCC Roster  Use this link to find information about various board-governed Boards, Commissions or Committees. In addition to roster information, you may view details about the board itself, its membership, and/or its County liaison agency. Please note that rosters show only the positions that are appointed by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. Ethics Training for BCC Members

Effective January 1, 2007, state law (Assembly Bill 1234) requires that members of the County’s boards, commissions and committees complete ethics training within one year of appointment, and every two years thereafter. Local Appointments List  The Local Appointments List concerns all regular and ongoing Boards, Commissions or Committees (BCCs) to which members are appointed by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. This report identifies those BCCs and includes member terms that are scheduled to expire during calendar year 2015. The Local Appointments List is arranged according to Supervisorial District.
